Valencia have sold Paraguayan striker Nelson Valdez to Al Jazira of the United Arab Emirates, the Spanish Liga club said on Friday.
According to media reports, Al Jazira have paid 3 million euros (3.93 million dollars) for the 29-year-old striker.
Valdez joined Valencia from Rubin Kazan a year ago and was used in most games as a late substitute, scoring six goals in La Liga.
He is now surplus to requirements at Mestalla because Valencia have brought Spain Under-20 striker Paco Alcacer back after a loan spell at Getafe, as backup for Spain forward Roberto Soldado.
