The man who was with US rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur the night he was shot and killed in Vegas in 1996, says he doesn't believe the rapper is really dead.
According to TMZ Suge Knight appeared on a Los Angeles radio show 93.5 kDay claiming that the hip hop legend might have faked his own death.
"Maybe the question is, Pac's not really dead; pac's somewhere else," Knight says.
Knight said he believes police never found Tupac's body because there was no murder to begin with.
"When asked if Knight ever saw the body of Tupac after the shooting in 1996, he said: "Nobody seen Tupac dead."
"The person who supposedly cremated Tupac ... this guy got about 3 million dollars, personally from me,cash!The next thing I know, I never heard from the guy or seen him again ... he retired and left,"Knight said.
Tupac Amaru Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996, Shakur after attending a Mike Tyson–Bruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with friend Suge Knight. The fataly wounded rapper was rushed to hospital where he was reported dead six days later.
There was numerous speculation after his death, that rival rapper and East Coast Hip Hop King Biggie Smallz, had something to do with his killing.
Tupac was "resurrected" in a US music festival Coachella as a hologram, performing with rappers Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.
The crowd reportedly went silent with shock when Shakur rose from the stage and shouted "What's up Coachella?"
It has been specualted that the hologram will going on tour.
