LATEST: Tea: Day 4, SA vs India, Third Test, Sahara Park Newlands: SA second innings 212/6 (72 overs). India first innings 364 all out (117.5 overs), SA first innings 362 all out (112.5 overs) - SA lead by 210 runs
Newlands is in the grip of a sizzling heat wave and Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher are upping the stakes as tea time dawns on this fourth day of the Third and series-deciding Test.
The pair have stood their ground with a bulldog-like resistance to ensure that the session has gone without surrendering a wicket. And may be they were terrified that they would be labelled chokers again!
The Kallis-Boucher stand is now worth 82 runs and will ensure that India will not have things their own way in the remaining time left in the Test.
Of course, if SA have any designs of winning they need to score at a fairly fast pace so that they afford themselves enough time to bowl India out for the second time in the match.
But bear in mind, 'Biff' Smith is NOT in it, to win it: "We will play to make sure we won't lose the Test".
Cricket, however, is a strange game and so much can change at any given moment. Just watch this space.
The Indians are not enjoying it out there in the boiling hot Newlands sun, and their heads have started to drop. Their body movement is such that one can see that don't want to be out there right now.
Kallis and Bouchie will pile on the agony!
