Multiple Grammy-winning American hip hop artist Kanye West impressed the 10000 fans who came out to attend his one-night-only concert on Saturday at the Coca-Cola Dome.

The annual Castle Lite Feel The Beat Subzero Experience last year saw popular US rapper Drake perform for the first time in the country at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.

The concert this year saw organisers opening the doors to a larger crowd, compared with the 5000 fans who attended last year.

Before West came on stage, local acts such as Tumi Molekane from Tumi and the Volume and HHP enthralled fans with some of their popular tunes.

West performed his greatest hits for more than an hour.

Organisers said they are already planning on the next Castle Lite Feel The Beat Subzero Experience with another big artist.
