Peter Barton and Kevin Brophy have discovered that they are the inheritors of a $1 million estate from a guy they’ve never met.
Illinois resident Ray Fulk, 71, left his 160-acre (64ha 7497.0m²) Lincoln property to be split between the former celebrities, reports ABCNews.com.
Ray Fulk was 71 when he died last July. He lived alone on the property that he inherited from his father. He had no family or children.
Fulk reportedly told his estate attorney, Donald Behle that the two actors were his friends hence he had decided to leave the land to them.
Behle helped prepare Fulk's will around 1998, and never saw him again.
Peter Barton is known for his role as Dr. Scott Grainger in the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 1987 to 1993.
Kevin Brophy was in the 1977 show "Lucan."
The 160-acre property is expected to be sold off for an estimated $10,000 (£6,250) an acre, totalling over $1 million, which would be split equally between Barton and Brophy.
