McVitie's Jaffa Cakes have created the World’s first Lickable Lift according to the Dailymail.
The lift’s walls are covered with 1,325 Jaffa Cakes which employees of a communications firm Engine in Great Portland Street, central London can lick all day. Once a Jaffa Cake is licked, they’re removed by the bell boy, so no one else can lick the same cake twice, the company said on its Facebook page.
Food technicians and artists took a month to install the unique walls inside the lift which was inspired by the glass elevator in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
According to Philippa Tilley, the Senior Brand Manager from McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes, this project was created in a spirit of fun and it is a way to bring a smile to ‘stressed out’ office workers.
So would you give the cookies a good lick if the lift was in your building?
