Department, Saps to embark on anti-crime festive season campaign

Police Minister Fikile Mbalula and the South African Police Service (SAPS) will visit Maponya Mall and Sandton City today.

During these visits, Mbalula will interact with shoppers and community members on crime-related issues.

In a statement, the Police Department explained that the minister would visit Maponya Mall and Sandton City as part of a continued drive to interact with the public during the ongoing Saps conducted operations for safer communities.

The department and Saps will embark on a mission of an anti-crime festive season campaign, raising awareness about safety and security during the festive season.
