The police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for suspects after a 43-year-old man was fatally shot during a robbery outside Mokopane.
Collins Baker was shot and killed during a robbery at his house in Elandskraal outside Mokopane in Limpopo yesterday. It’s understood, suspects gained entry into his’s house through a back window while the deceased and his wife were asleep.
“They ransacked the victim’s house, stole cash and a Toyota Land Cruiser before shooting the deceased in the head where he died instantly,” provincial police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said.
Ngoepe said the Baker’s wife was found with no visible injuries, however, she was taken to the hospital because she could not talk when the police found her.
He said the vehicle was later found abandoned a few kilometres from the house.
“The suspects are unknown and still at large.”
