As we say goodbye to 2017 the City of Joburg, Cape Town and Durban are welcoming the New Year in style. These three cities want you to be part of this end of the year’s celebrations, making sure you have a blast in a safe place.

Here are what you can do in the three South Africa’s biggest cities, whether you are a resident or visitor for the festive season.

1. Joburg

If you are in Joburg CBD or nearby, the city wants you to be a part of this end of the year’s celebration with some of the South African popular and diverse music artists.

The Johannesburg Carnival has become a custom that celebrates its reputation as a home of various cultural and traditional differences that have formed one big culture.

The carnival will start in Hillbrow, Kotze Street, allowing joburgers to take part and have fun.

2. Cape Town

The City of Cape Town prides itself in some of the tourists’ hotspots and is always ready to host anyone from anywhere.

3. Durban

If anyone knows how to party, we all know that its Durban.

Catch various music artists on the 31st December at the “Fact Durban Rocks” event saying goodbye 2017 and hello 2018.

The event will take place at the Moses Mabhida stadium from 6pm to 6am on the 1st of January.
