Limpopo Police are still waiting for the identification of four bodies after two cars collided on Saturday night killing the occupants of both vehicles.
According to the police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe, a Mazda 2 driving towards LebowaKgomo next to Zebediela Bricks with three occupants allegedly noticed a car driving in the opposite direction.
“The driver of the Mazda tried to swerve to avoid colliding with the Hyundai but it was too late as the cars collided head-on,” Ngoepe said.
Ngoepe said the three occupants and the driver of the Hyundai died instantly.
He said at this stage a case of culpable homicide has been opened and the police are investigating what might have led to the collision.
He urged motorists to be very careful when they drive during the night.
